As a family and children’s charity, we believe that every child deserves a safe place to live and play as well as protection from the effects of poor physical and mental health. Fundraise for charity and help us give a child a Home-Start.
Our Bedfordshire charity has supported thousands of vulnerable children. Many young children are surrounded by hardship or tragedy including bereavement, disability, poor nutrition, neglect or parental mental ill health. They are affected by financial hardship, food shortages and unsafe environments to live and play.
We Need Your Support.
Just £15 per week enables us to provide help for a child and their family.
Fundraise for charity and help us give a local child a Home-Start. The donations and money you raise will directly help local children and their families in Bedfordshire as well as Luton.

Company Fundraising Ideas
Holding a company fundraising event is a brilliant way to get staff involved with supporting a cause. Here’s some company fundraising ideas to get you started:
- Loose Change Collection – collect pocket change from people at your work. You’d be surprised how much money you could raise!
- Dress-Down Day – wear your casual clothes to work for a donation. This could be a regular event and is always popular with office staff and bosses alike.
- Bring in Your Own Food Fridays – bring a packed lunch to work and donate what you would have spent on food to Home-Start
- Fancy Dress Day – raise donations and have fun competing with your colleagues! A great place to look for inexpensive shirts and outfits is your local charity shops, with the added benefit of giving more to another great cause.
- Quizzes, Balls & Other Charity Events – many companies have seasonal staff events. Why not hold an event in aid of our child support services?

Before you send the money in, don’t forget to check if your employer runs a matched giving scheme as this is an excellent way to increase your fundraising through your workplace.
